Located on the famous Roman imperial road "Via Claudia Augusta," the region has been one of the most-important north-south trade routes over the Alps since A.D. 50. Along with the Bünden passes, the route was one of the historically important Alpine passes from the Middle Ages until the Early Modern Age. Like this here a unique form of cordial hospitality has emerged naturally over the course of centuries. With the villages Graun, Reschen, St. Valentin and Langtaufers today one of the most up-to-date, diverse holiday regions reaches out in all directions.
